Well folks, these last few weeks have been busy ones! For Caleb, he has had 2 huge mid-terms this last week that has kept him full-o-Starbucks and MIA at home! For me, it's just life... teaching, TAKS tests, cleaning house, laundry, cooking during the hours my husband is home, etc. On top of all that, we decided it was finally time to tackle the last big inside project to make this renovation complete! Here's the project in pictures...

Well there ya have it folks! We spent a year deliberating over what material to use on our backsplash. We contemplated all travertine (the stuff on top), and all glass (the stuff on bottom) and in the end decided to use both! We love the look and I think it is a perfect complement to the kitchen and the rest of the decor!

um seriously...I have the exact same glass pattern in a box in my kitchen right now. I am playing with designs as well! My dad works for dal tile so they sent us home with a bunch of cool stuff a few weeks ago. We like the bottom row of glass as well. How was the tile cutting process?
